GPUC’s efforts to support the people of Ukraine have featured in an SBS online news item published during the week. The article talks about us sending messages of hope and support via handmade cards last year. Sent with the help of our local Ukrainian refugee friends, our cards are just this month beginning to be received by children in war-torn Ukraine. Quite incredibly, heart-warming responses are now arriving from recipients in Bucha, Kyiv and Dnieper, including a number of video messages of thanks.
