GPUC - Engaging Community, Exploring Faith

Activities of our church in lego

At Gordon-Pymble Uniting Church (GPUC), we believe that all persons are created in the image of God and are therefore entitled to love and respect.

We want to celebrate unity in diversity, which has been one of the building blocks of the Uniting Church in Australia.

In response to God’s call of love and reconciliation we therefore endeavour to build a community which is inclusive and welcoming and to express this through our worship, friendship and activities.

As an inclusive church, we choose to welcome people irrespective of difference: be it age, gender, race, ability, theological perspective, marital status, sexual orientation, illness or socio-economic status.

We seek to follow the example of Jesus Christ who reached out to the people of his day, calling all into community. In seeking to understand God’s call to love better, we aim to create a positive environment where all people are encouraged to discover their gifts and talents and are nurtured in finding ways to use them in the service of God and others.

GPUC acknowledges the Darramuragal or Darug people as traditional custodian of the land.  We would also like to acknowledge Darug Elders, past, present and emerging.
